Hardware and Software Purchase Guidelines

Facebooklinkedinmail

Just Ask That Guy Inc. is primarily in the service business, however, we can purchase and acquire both hardware and software on behalf of our clients. We believe in transparency with our clients when it comes to the process.

The hardware and software industry has exceptionally low margins on the “big ticket” items, as such it may be more economical for us to source your hardware or software from retail chains or, give you the option to purchase it directly yourself. Although some significant savings can be had buy purchasing software in volume under a special licence, there are normally very specific rules and reasons why a “deal” isn’t really a deal when you buy in bulk. (If you require 5+ of almost anything, then deals can be had that increase the more you buy.)

As we may not be able to return the items that we purchase on your behalf we do not offer a refund policy for hardware or software. We will however, assist you dealing with the manufactures warranty if items are defective. If you have defective items, please contact us as we may be able to exchange them on your behalf. Clients on the executive plan get our assistance with contacting the manufacturer and dealing with exchanges for free as part of their plan.

All hardware and software must be paid for as follows: Items under $400 Paid upon delivery. Items over $400, 50% non-refundable deposit upon order, remainder upon delivery. All hardware and software remain the property of Just Ask That Guy Inc. until they have been fully paid for. Items paid where funds are NSF or disputed remain the property of Just Ask That Guy Inc until the transaction is settled. (We hate to say this, but as a small business ourselves, we don’t have the same flexibility of massive chain stores, we will promise to be as flexible as we can if you run into payment difficulties.)

What to know our actual profit margin? Yes, we will tell you all the dirty little secrets in the IT industry on where profit is made!

Here is the document, email us for the password, it will be freely provided to any client upon request!
