Hardware Services

Standard computer setup and installation 

This service includes much more than you would get at retail. We assemble your new system, apply system updates, security updates, we remove all of the trial software you don’t need and we install a free anti-virus solution for you!

Data migration

If you purchase a new computer you may want all of your old documents and files on your new system, that is where this service comes in.
We move over your files including email folders, contacts, appointments, My Documents*, My Pictures*, bookmarks, and Desktop files.
* Up to 5 GB total, additional fee may apply for larger libraries.
* Covers personal data only, additional application installation not included – see Software Services, below.

External accessory installation:

We can install any printer, scanner, webcam or other device for you and get you the latest drivers to make sure your device is working the way it should.

Price: $30
Internal component installation:

If you need a Hard drive, DVD/Blu-Ray drive, memory, network card, etc installed, we can handle that for you as well.

Data backup routine 

We walk you through the process of backing up your important files.
Includes email folders, contacts, appointments, My Documents, My Pictures, My Videos, bookmarks, and Desktop files.

Price: Online / Dropoff $40                   Onsite $70

We can also supply an external drive for an additional cost. Price depends on capacity of drive.

Recovery Services

Complete system recovery 

Is your computer not running properly anymore to the point its non functional? This is the service for you.
Includes data backup and virus cleaning, hard drive format, installation of the operating system, system updates, applications, data transfer.

Note: Some onsite visits may require us to work on the machine here and bring it back to you upon completion.

Price: Dropoff $150               On-Site $250

 
Hard drive data recovery

Are your files just gone? We may be able to get some or all of them back for you.
Lost data due to Software related issues: Virus, accidental deletion, corrupt operating system, etc.

Memory card/USB drive data recovery 

Yes, we can often recover files from those devices as well!

We can help!

Price: Onsite $30 per connected device plus the cost of cables.

General rates are as follows:

Mon-Friday 9-5

Technician:  $75 an hour, 1 hour minimum for offsite calls.

Training and Consulting: $100 an hour

Remote or phone support $1 a minute billed in 15 minute intervals.

Evening, weekend and holiday rates are subject to an additional $50 an hour charge.

Discounts to general rates available for managed services clients, seniors, non profits and charities.

Extra charges may be applied for emergency, after hours work.

A minimum charge of $75 for 1 hour may be applied for onsite visits.

Appointments cancelled without at least 24 hours may be subject to the following charges: $25 for remote or phone support, $75 for onsite support calls.

All prices are plus applicable taxes.
